Saint Patrick's Day Releases

Saint Patrick's Day Weekend, 2008
Forbidden Peak Brewery stunned the beer community by releasing three (yes, three!) new brews on the same weekend. While the competition is reeling, the Brew Crew and friends were quite pleased by the selection. 1. The Vanilla Stout debuted to rave results: "The most creative beer on the market today." "This is both a full meal, and dessert!" "The mexican vanilla bean and Sky Vodka add a level of complexity never seen in a traditional stout."
2. The Celtic Cider was a hit on St. Patty's special day with its "Get Lucky" logo, although the group agreed that another couple of weeks in the bottle will only help the delicate flavor of the Washington State apples.
3. The Red Storm was a smashing success. When poured into a FPB pint glass, the unfiltered red ale mimicks the power and intrigue of the rare red storm of the northwest. The Red Storm mini keg didn't stand a chance with the green-wearing Crew and friend Das Boot (below).
